Dreaming of your next luxurious getaway? The Nautilus, a luxury bohemian retreat in the Maldives, is set to reopen as of tomorrow, on September 1st, 2020.

This boho-luxury resort allows guests to embrace their every indulgence without “the shackles of social constraints and time.” The barefoot luxury private island will be open for private island buy-outs, as well as guests traveling with extended family, friends, or in a group constellation.

Nestled in the stunning Baa Atoll of the Maldives, in the heart of a UNESCO Biosphere, The Nautilus is one of the smallest islands in the Maldives, making it a sublime tropical haven—and one of the safest places to be right now.

While the resort was already renowned for its cleaning and hygiene protocols, the Maldives have been further reinforced in line with the public health guidelines issued by the WHO and the national authorities to ensure its guests enjoy a safe, and impeccable clean environment.

The entire team at the resort have also been fully trained and informed with these new protocols—with a new curated travel guide for guests that highlights exactly what they are doing to maintain guests’ relaxation and safety.

Further, the Nautilus has also recently undertaken a major CSR initiative to help support the local community and the people of Baa atoll, by funding the installation of a PCR testing facility in a specially created area within the healthcare center on Dharavandhoo Island where all testing will be carried out by the health center.

Located just twenty minutes by yacht from The Nautilus, this testing facility provides COVID-19 testing for guests and staff on a complimentary basis, while also aiding the local community members.

Worried about social distancing while commuting to the private retreat? The Nautilus Maldives’ private seaplane is currently on location to fly guests directly from the airport to the island, avoiding any unnecessary contact with as many people as possible—with guests picked up directly from the aircraft and individually escorted to the exclusive CIP lounge. This avoids queuing for immigration, baggage, and customs, which will all be handled by the VIP lounge personnel.
